Meet The Team

Misty Shelton

Misty is our dedicated Chief of Operations. She also functions as Cardiology Practice Manager, with 29 years of experience in multifaceted areas of cardiovascular medicine. Her expertise is Electrophysiology Cardiac Device Programming, Cardiac Sonography, and Stress Testing. She
earned her CCMA in 2017. Outside of work, she enjoys spending quality time with her family and going to the gym.

Judy Owens

Judy is our Referral Coordinator, with extensive
experience in scheduling non-invasive and invasive procedures for our cardiology practice. She is skilled at pre-certification and prior authorization of all procedures for our office. Judy has worked in the medical field as a
medical assistant, front desk, and billing for 22 years. She has worked in cardiology for the past 9 years with Dr Flaherty. She is passionate about spending quality time with her family, enjoys the occasional trip to the Napa Vineyards, and
also enjoys wine tastings locally.

Stacy Stewart-Crockett

Stacy is our Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) and Clinical Manager. She began her career in healthcare in 2008, and spent around 8 years in family medicine. She joined Dr. Flaherty in 2015 and found her love…cardiology. Stacy has been happily married to her husband since 2005 and they share one son together. She is passionate about animals, plants, gardening, and yes, drag racing her Chevy S-10! Stacy considers it an honor to assist Dr. Flaherty in providing exceptional care for their patients.

Morgan Heckman

Morgan has been the Operations Coordinator for Regional Heart Specialists since its opening in November 2022. She is an essential and multifaceted member of our staff, ever multitasking while running the front desk. Behind the scenes, Morgan, also assists
with billing, IT issues, and building a brand for the RHS. Morgan, a Louisville native, loves spending time with her friends, family, Fiancé, her boxer, Odin, and her cat, Leo. Morgan is a bit of a restaurant connoisseur, enjoys farmers markets, and any true crime mediums!

Laura Reddick, FNP

Laura is the Director of Noninvasive Diagnostics at RHS with 18 years experience in cardiovascular imaging. Laura specializes in adult cardiac sonography, as well as pediatric, open heart, TEE procedures, and other forms of
cardiology testing. With 10 years of management and 8 years in private office settings, it is safe to say she loves her job. Laura also has a love for functional nutritional medicine, she is a certified Functional Nutritional Practitioner (FNP). Outside of work, she dedicates time to her daughter, family, and the small farm she calls home.
