FAQ
1. How do I pay? Do you accept quarterly or monthly fees?
The annual fee is a one-time payment made when you sign the services contract.
2. What does my insurance cover?
If you have diagnostic or laboratory testing completed, or out-of-office procedures, those tests/procedures will be billed to your insurance provider.
3. How accessible is my physician with RHS?
RHS services are designed to give you 24-hour, seven-day-a-week coverage. When you sign up, you will be given your doctor’s cell number, as well as e-mail address. In addition, RHS gives you an appointment within 24 hours of your call, and makes every effort to accommodate private, no-wait, walk-in visits.
4. What happens if I need to see a specialist or go to the hospital?
RHS will guide you through the process of seeing a specialist. This includes arranging appointments and following through on your case. RHS has relationships with specialists who will try to accommodate you as soon as possible. But this is often controlled by the specialist’s office policies. If you are in the hospital, you may be admitted to another provider which would not allow for Dr. Flaherty to always be managing your care. However, we will see you and will maintain frequent contact with you and the hospital staff to monitor your care.
5. What is the size of the practice?
RHS plans to limit its concierge patient size to 100-150 patients, while continuing to manage our non-concierge patients.
6. Do I have to be part of your concierge option
The Concierge Option is completely voluntary.
7. How do I sign up?
Easy! Simply call the Patient Care Coordinator in our office at 502-497-1335. They will gather all the necessary information and schedule an appointment right away. If you’d like to request more information on the Concierge Option, please email us today.
